These courses are rated the best throughout the state in 2024 on udisc. The rating system on udisc uses 6 different factors that contribute toward and overall rating: Upkeep, Shot Variety/Design, Tee Area, Signage/Wayfinding, Amenities & Scenery/Views.
The 5th rated course is located in Gasport, NY (Western Region). Royalton Ravine is located in a Niagara County Park. The county has been very supportive of disc golf. Their staff handles all of the course maintenance, clearing, etc. This course was installed in 2022. It is mostly wooded and fairly flat throughout. There are two sets of tees with the longs being intended to be a challenge. It’s current rating is a 4.6 overall with 840 ratings. It is down 1 spot on the list from 2023.
The 4th rated course is located in Eden, NY (Western Region). Hawk’s Landing is a privately owned property. There are three sets of concrete tees on the course. It is a fairly short course but the lines are technical and precise. On a week day, there is a $3 per round fee ($5 per day) and on the weekend/Holidays, there is a $5 per round fee ($8 per day). The property also features a mini course, a spacious club house with thousands of discs, beverages & snacks and will be adding a second course in the near future. The course is a new addition to the top 5 list. The maintenance and care put into the course owners is obvious while you enjoy a round here. It’s current rating is a 4.6 overall with 1005 ratings.
The 3rd rated course is located in Warwick, NY (Southern Region). Brakewell Steel / Warwick has two sets of tees and two basket locations. There is a second course located on the same property and a privately owned course right across the street! This course is the oldest on the Top 5 list, being established in 1999. It is well taken care for which is reflect in its 4.7 overall with 2181 ratings. This course saw no movement on the top 5 list.
The 2nd rated course is located in Ransomville, NY (Western Region). Bond Lake is another Niagara County Park. This course and Royalton Ravine will be 2 of the featured courses for the 2026 PDGA Amateur World Championships. This will be the first time time a Major will be hosted in the greater Buffalo and Niagara Falls area and the last time New York had a major was the 2011 Amateur World Championships hosted by Rochester. This course was installed in 2019 and has a few accolades: rated #33 in 2021, rated #41 in the world in 2022, rated #66 in the world in 2023 and it was #1 rated course in NY in 2023.
The 1st rated course is located in Stanfordville, NY (Southern Region). This course has 36 holes on property and features 22 different layouts. There may be a $5 fee for Duchess County Residents or $10 for non Residents. There will be a an A tier hosted on this property in 2025, the Wilcox WOW. The course has a 4.7 overall with 1126 ratings. It was first installed in 2016 and also has a handful of accolades: rated #69 in the world in 204 and rated #81 in 2025.
